Tiny teams up with Intel arch rival

Showroom box shifter goes AMD

Tiny has become the latest major PC vendor to branch out beyond the confines of Intel processors with its decision to house AMD chips.

Previously an Intel-only house, Tiny today announced it would be adding AMD’s Athlon and Duron processors to its PC systems.

According to Tiny's Marketing Director Neil Stevens, AMD’s Duron range offers better value for money than Intel’s budget Celeron line and in the power PC arena Athlon outperforms Pentium III.
