MSN MoneyCentral to arrive before Xmas

Personal finance service on its way

Microsoft will launch a UK customised version of its MoneyCentral online personal finance service before the end of the year.

MoneyCentral will provide financial and investment information on its Web site and allows subscribers to pay bills and track investments online.

Users will be able to access the service through mobile phones and devices that are enabled for WAP (Wireless Application Protocol).

The enhanced version provides stock alerts via the Microsoft Network's MSN Messenger service, and will allow access to stock quotes, company information, analyst ratings and earnings estimates for public companies.
