UK Online rolls out special offer

Cheaper surfing — for a while

BT Yahoo! isn?t the only service provider trying to push people to sign up to its email service with the promise of huge savings.

ISP UKOnline is offering customers who sign up to its OpenSurf narrowband service before 28 February, a special £4.99 per month price tag for their first two months subscription, plus unlimited access.

But there is a catch after the two month 'special offer' is up, users will then have to pay £13.99 per month for the remainder of the 12 month contract.

"Unmetered internet access provides the freedom and peace of mind to surf the internet when you like, for as long as you like without a 'taxi meter' clocking up unpredictable costs. And it's a great opportunity for users of other ISPs to come to us to experience the benefits of unmetered dial up," said Chris Stening, UK Online brand manager.
