BT YAHOO! launches three month Anytime price promo

Less than £50 a year for 1800 hours!

BT Yahoo! Internet is hoping to woo new punters by cutting the cost of its BT Yahoo! Anytime service from £15.99 to £3.99 for the first three months.

If you're a multi-credit card household, you can give your one month notice and let another flatmate or family member have a go. That's less than fifty quid a year for up to 1800 hours of net access.

Readers should be aware that 'Anytime' does not mean the same as unmetered. BT Yahoo! Anytime provides users with standard dial-up internet access of up to 150 hours per month for a fixed monthly fee.

Additional services include advanced email protection against spam and junk email, email virus protection, parental controls, firewall software and BT Yahoo! Instant Messenger.

"There are 12.5 million households in the UK that are now online. However, our introductory price to BT Yahoo! Anytime is designed to encourage those people still to make the move online," said Duncan Ingram, managing director at BT Openworld.
