Gongs for bands and sites at BT awards

Virgin's online radio station and web-based music game Project Rockstar were just two of the websites awarded prizes at last night's BT Interactive Music Awards.

Artist Of The Year was given to Will Young, while Best Music Video Online was awarded to rock band Feeder's Just The Way I'm Feeling.

The winner of the People's Choice Official Website was Westlife.com. The band's website features voiceovers from each of the members, samples from the group's albums and loads of interactive sections allowing fans to explore the world of Westlife more deeply.

Meanwhile, the Best Fan Website was proclaimed as AtEaseWeb.com — a site dedicated to Radiohead which features a popular and effective forum for users to share information about the band.

Virgin picked up Best Online Radio Station, while dance club The Ministry of Sound scooped the trophy for Best Use Of Broadband thanks to its tailored website content.
