iTunes for Windows hits the magic million

Music software wins favour among PC users

Following the introduction of iTunes for Windows at the end of last week, PC users have voted firmly in favour of Apple's music software, with one million copies downloaded in the three days since launch.

US users who can use the software to buy from the iTunes Music Store have also shown themselves more than willing to part with their cash for songs available from its download library.

So far Apple has sold over a million songs to Windows users, this is in stark contrast to when the store was only available to Mac users when it took over a week to reach the million sales mark.
