Following a cut in broadband prices last month, BT has even more offers to tempt customers to sign up for its high-speed internet services.
The no frills BT Broadband is offering free connection on all orders placed before 30 September, while the altogether more frilly BT Openworld has cut the cost of its broadband modem to £50 throughout August and September, representing a saving of £30.
An additional saving of £10 on both BT Broadband and Openworld modems can be had if orders are made online. This is a permanent price change for both services.
Such a rush of generosity on the part of the telco is all part of its grand plan to get five million paying customers using broadband by 2006.
