CES: Mobee shows off wireless charger for Mac peripherals

Magic Feet can wirelessly recharge the Apple Magic Mouse, Apple Wireless Keyboard or Magic Trackpad

Mobee has shown off its Magic Feet wireless charging station at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The Magic Feet device is capable of charging the Apple Magic Mouse and either the Apple Wireless Keyboard or Magic Trackpad.

When you place your Magic Mouse, Wireless Keyboard or Magic Trackpad by the Magic Feet device it recharges the supplied battery packs in the peripheral devices.

It uses inductive charging technology and to fully charge a device from empty takes six hours. Once charged it will run for up to 10 days and it can charge three devices at once.

It is designed to sit on the foot of the iMac and also houses a powered four-port USB hub, which can be used to charge devices that aren't compatible with inductive charging technology.

It will cost £134.99 including VAT when it launches in early March.

Additionally, Mobee has announced the Power Bar, a rechargable power pack from the Apple Magic Trackpad.

It replaces the batteries in the Magic TrackPad with a power cell that can be recharged in situ, and will also be launched in March and costs £24.99 inc VAT.
