PowerBook price cuts

Apple slashes cost of notebook by up to £300

Apple has reduced the price of its 15in Titanium PowerBook G4 and made slight cuts to the cost of its aluminium 12in PowerBook G4.

The 867MHz DVD-ROM/CD-RW 15in model has had its price chopped dramatically from £1,899 to £1,599, while the 1GHz DVD-R SuperDrive model is down from £2,199 to £1,999. All prices include VAT.

Both versions of the 12in PowerBook will see their prices cut by £100. The 867MHz DVD-ROM/CD-RW model is now 1,299, while the 867MHz DVD-R SuperDrive has dropped to £1,499.

Model specifications remain unchanged as does the price of Apple's £2,599 17in PowerBook G4.
