Philips announces PowerSensor AMVA LED Display 241P4QPYES/00

Aimed at business users and those who use their computers for long periods of time

Philips has announced the PowerSensor AMVA LED Display 241P4QPYES/00, an LED backlit monitor offering high static contrast ratios for extra vivid and bright images.

The PowerSensor AMVA LED Display has a 24in screen and is designed with business professionals and other who use their computers for long periods of time.

AMVA (Advanced Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment) technology helps to create the high static contrast ratios the mean the display is easy on the eyes, Philips says, and optimised pixel management technology gives a 178/178 degree viewing angle.

Rather than a DVI connector, the monitor uses Philips DisplayPort, which supports cable lengths of up to 15m, delivers data transfer rates of 10.8Gbps and zero image latency.

There's also a USB hub so you can connect plug-and-play equipment such as a webcam, portable hard drives, a PDA or printer.

Additionally there is a built-in 'people sensor' that transmits and receives harmless infrared signals to determine if a user is present. When the PowerSensor AMVA LED Display 241P4QPYES/00 is not in use, the display brightness is automatically dimmed. The Zero Power Switch at the back of the display can be used to cut off AC power entirely.

The Philips PowerSensor AMVA LED Display 241P4QPYES/00 is available from End of November at an RRP of £215 (ex VAT) or £258 (inc VAT).
