PC maker collapses, leaving customers in the lurch

PC maker Campus Systems has ceased trading. The company, which has won plaudits from the computer magazines for its computers, is no longer answering calls from customers or existing owners.

When we called the company's reseller, it was redirecting all calls to another number — 0870 444 6900. Call it, and you are connected to a recorded message saying that the company is no longer trading and that no support calls will be taken.

Instead, customers are advised to write to the Till Morris Partnership, 32 Brook Street, Warwick CV34 4BL or to contact their credit card company direct. We contacted Till Morris to find out if any more information was available for Campus customers, but the firm refused to comment.

One of PC Advisor's readers who has been caught out by Campus' shut down, has posted a name and number to contact at Till Morris on our ConsumerWatch forum. He suggests speaking to Paul Rogers on 01926 497 722, although it was Mr Rogers who refused to speak to us.

If you have any further information on Campus then please contact us via the ConsumerWatch forum or email Ursula Seymour.
