Virtual Graceland going live tomorrow

Cyber vigil for the King

Some 23 years after his corpse was found spreadeagled on the bathroom floor of his Graceland mansion, Elvis Presley will take centre stage in an online candlelight vigil via the Internet.

Tomorrow a global audience will be paying their respects to the King, commemorating the loss of Mr. Blue Suede Shoes 16 August 1977.

According to representatives of Elvis Presley Enterprises half of Elvis’s fans are Net-enabled and under the age of 35.

The "vigilcast," will be broadcast over the Internet with cameras in the Graceland gardens.

However cyber hound dogs hungry for some web site action will have to wait until the last moment, as a URL has not yet been given.
