Are you taking the office home with you this Christmas?

2.5 million expected to say bah humbug to a festive break this year

It's the festive season, but are you taking a break from work or will Christmas Day see you emailing the office after your turkey and pud?

A survey from virtual network operator Sirocom found that 30 percent more people will be working from home over Christmas 2002 than did last year. In total it found that 2.5 million people will be operating a remote office over the festive break.

Now we at PC Advisor are taking a well deserved holiday over the Christmas period, not least because IT news is pretty thin on the ground as tech companies recharge their batteries after the busy party season.

But we wondered how many of you will be logging on and working over Christmas and new year so we've set up special survey of our own.
