Xerox is putting product where its mouth is by unveiling a range of inkjet printers and multifunction devices specifically aimed at small businesses.
The DocuPrint M750 and M760 will launch in July. The M750 offers up to 10ppm (pages per minute) black and 6 for colour with the M760 offering 12 and 8 respectively. Both offer up to 1200dpi and draft modes for saving ink.
The M750 will be available for £99 and the M760 will hit the market at around £130.
Xerox’s Multifunction devices, the WorkCentre M940 and M950 are capable of print and copying speeds of up to 12ppm black and 7ppm colour with up to 1200 dpi. Both systems incorporate a flatbed 600 x 600dpi scanner.
Pricing detail for these are not yet available, but the devices are expected to be available by the end of the summer.
The models are the first to have print heads manufactured by the copier giant although the actual models have been assembled by Sharp. Previous models were manufactured by Lexmark and performed badly in PC Advisor tests.
