For the second time this year PCAdvisor.co.uk has been short-listed for a prestigious PPA award. The Periodical Publishers Association's interactive section's awards are a little like the Oscars of online publishing in the UK. Well, that's what we like to think.
PCAdvisor.co.uk short-listed for website of the year
Having narrowly missed out on the coveted award for Interactive Magazine of the Year in May's PPA Magazines and B2B awards, the site has reached the final seven for the UK's Best Consumer Product or Service.
The PPA Interactive awards ceremony will take place on 9 October, when the PC Advisor website will do battle with the likes of FHM, NME and New Scientist at the glitzy Millennium Mayfair in London’s Grosvenor Square.
Twenty-eight experts from the interactive media industry participated in the judging choosing from a record 175 entries — more than double the amount submitted last year.
