As Henman and Rusedski make the final tweeks to the gut on their tennis rackets the BBC has announced complementary interactive digital offerings as part of its Wimbledon coverage.
Terrestrial digital television viewers will this year be able to call up background information on the tournament and players, as Britain’s plucky lads make their traditional bid for the final eight.
The BBC is not restricting its interactive service to player biographies and serve speeds.
It is also making contingency plans for poor weather, with the provision of interactive quizzes for viewers who can’t stomach another year of singalong celebrities.
Subscribers to ONdigital's terrestrial platform will be able to access the service at no extra cost.
