Advisor outage

PC Advisor left in the dark for a day

If you wondered why there wasn't any news on the PC Advisor website yesterday, the reason is simple. From around 3pm yesterday PC Advisor Towers was plunged into darkness after a disastrous mains failure.

Sadly we hadn't managed to post the day's news before the outage occurred. Power wasn't returned to the offices until after 7pm, by which time staff had left.

London Electricity had tempted us into believing that the fault might be rectified within an hour, but though we twiddled our thumbs, played with remote-controlled cars and had a game of rounders in the office for over an hour, our screens were still dark. We were then forced to go to the pub.

We apologise for the Advisor outage and promise that we won't let it happen again, unless someone else is to blame, in which case we can't help it.
