Two years on from the launch of its Q-M200 model, camera manufacturer Konica has renewed its interest in the megapixel digital camera market with the launch of two new additions to its Revio range - the KD-300Z and KD-200Z.
Konica revitalises camera range
The 3.34Mp (megapixel) KD-300Z, on sale this month, is equipped with a 2x optical zoom and 2x digital zoom, which combine to achieve a 4x zoom of power for extreme close-ups.
Designed to fit neatly into the palm of the hand, the tiny camera features a modern stainless steel exterior. Inside, there's a 16MB multimedia card and lithium-ion battery pack, and the facility to make 15-second movie clips.
The second model, the 2.1Mp KD-200Z, will be available in the UK from August.
Comprising a 2x optical zoom and 3x digital zoom, Konica says users can expect professional-quality pictures using the camera's fully automatic functions.
The KD-200Z is fitted with Konica’s high-precision AE system, which, says the company, processes all information on the screen to set the ideal exposure.
Konica’s Revio KD-300Z will retail at £549.99, with the soon-to-be released KD-200Z selling at £349.99.
