Ashes on your desktop

“Pretty good effort” from Desktop Richie

As the nation prepares for another mauling at the hands of the willow-wielding Aussies, Channel 4 has come up with Desktop Richie, providing regular updates on England’s inevitable middle order collapse.

The yellow-skinned Aussie now has a virtual carnation offering notification whenever a wicket falls or a batsman reaches a century throughout this summer’s Ashes series.

Richie is available as a download by clicking here. (Alternatively you can click on PC Advisor’s Download of the Week – top right hand corner of our navigation bar).

You have the choice of opening the file from its current location or saving it to your local hard disk and double-clicking to begin installation. Desktop Richie will run on any Windows platform.
