DX3600 designed to make image capture easy

Kodak has begun shipping its latest digital camera, an upgrade to the DX3500, the DX3600 Zoom.

Aimed squarely at consumers, the DX3600 incorporates an enhanced 2x optical zoom and offers movie-clip and sound capture capabilities. The unit also comes with a docking station and EasyShare software to make downloading, editing, sharing and printing pictures simple.

The company announced that all future Kodak digital cameras will have this software built into their docking stations.

The new model has 2.2Mp (megapixel) resolution, and pictures can be printed out at up to 8x10in, or 20x25cm.

Kodak has set a recommended retail price of £340, and the camera should be available in shops from today.
