Phone or credit card – you be the judge

Samsung claims ‘Thinnest Mobile In The World’ crown

Samsung electronics today launched what it claims is the thinnest mobile phone in the world. The tiny silver SPN-N2000 is less than 1cm thick.

Despite its diminutive proportions, the phone incorporates a fair size screen, capable of displaying up to eight lines of text and the latest internet microbrowser.

The flip-type (or clamshell) handset is only available in Korea for now, but is expected to hit the UK later this year. A price has not yet been confirmed.
