The move means people who don't have the cash to subscribe to Sky fully can simply pay for the sporting events which really matter as and when they choose. Now TV is available on PCs, laptops, smartphones, tablets, Xbox 360, YouView and Roku players.
Through Sky Sports on Now TV, users can pick and choose between the Barclays Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Formula 1, exclusive coverage of the British and Irish Lions 2013 tour of Australia, Ashes test matches, Majors golf and ATP tennis finals.
"We're always looking at new ways to make our content available to customers. Now TV is a great way for even more people to enjoy the best action from Sky Sports." added Barney Francis, MD of Sky Sports.
The price seems quite high considering Sky Sports TV is available on iPhone and selected Android devices for £4.99 per month. Let us know your thoughts below.
