Fixed wireless 4G from now Broadband is UK's first, not EE

"We are really excited to offer residents and businesses in these areas a unique opportunity to enjoy 4G speeds using our wireless networks," said Nicholas James CEO at now Broadband. "Our services offer a truly flexible, hassle free alternative to fixed line broadband services – whether it’s at home, work or a customer Wi-Fi solution."

Although now Broadband has beaten EE to launching the UK's first 4G network, the offering is different. Instead of 4G for devices like smartphones, now Broadband provides a fixed wireless 4G LTE service as an alternative to fixed broadband for homes and businesses. The service is provided via a home router but neither a phone line is nor a long-term contract are required. Speeds reach up to 40Mbps and there are four packages to choose from starting at £21.50 per month.
