Apple's Steve Jobs takes $1 salary

SEC filing spills beans on Apple exec payouts

Apple boss Steve Jobs took home a one dollar salary once again this year, the company has confirmed, according to a news report on MarketWatch.

New statements filed with regulators at the US Securities and Exchange Commission confirm Jobs' bargain-basement pay rate.

It also spills the beans on the cash earned by other key workers at America's 121st largest corporation.

Apple chief financial officer, Peter Oppenheimer for example takes home a $615,000 salary, alongside a $450,000 bonus and $14 million in stock.

And chief operating officer, Tim Cook, got $22 million in restricted stock, a $697,000 salary and a $525,000 bonus payment.

Apple will hold its annual shareholder meeting on 10 May.
