PC World selling FM transmitters

Expects law to change soon

Though they can't legally be used in the UK yet, PC World is selling FM transmitters for iPods across its stores.

The Independent explains that PC World has decided to make the move because the company expects regulator Ofcom to finally declare such devices legal by autumn. As such it added the products to its shelves today, but will warn customers they are not for use in the UK.

PC World is currenty selling a Belkin Tunecast II transmitter, but will add a Griffin Technology iTrip within weeks.
