Satnav apps most downloaded from Apple App Store

'I Gotta Feeling' by the Black Eyed Peas has been named as the most downloaded single of 2009 on Apple iTunes.

'Poker Face' and 'Just Dance' by Lady GaGa were the next most downloaded singles, closely followed by 'Boom Boom Pow' by the Black Eyed Peas and 'Fight For This Love' by Girls Aloud member and The X Factor Judge Cheryl Cole.

The Kings of Leon had the most downloaded album with 'Only By The Night', while Lilly Allen's 'It's Not Me, It's You' came in second. Lady GaGa also managed to grab third place with 'The Fame'.

Satnav apps appear to be the most popular as CoPilot Live was named the most downloaded app of the year, closely followed by the TomTom UK app.

Apple also said that Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' was the most downloaded video, while the best selling movie on iTunes in 2009 was 'The Quantum of Solace'.
