George Harrison music available on Apple iTunes

Still no Beatles music on Apple's music store

Yesterday Apple announced the release of George Harrison's musical catalogue on its Apple iTunes music store.

Nine solo records from George Harrison have been put on the iTunes Store, including "All Things Must Pass" (the double album that featured "My Sweet Lord"), to "Cloud Nine" (the album featuring his latter-day hit "Got My Mind Set On You").

All the albums have been remastered, some include bonus tracks, and many, many tracks are also available for purchase as ringtones for iPhone users.

Apple iTunes 7.4 review

Harrison is the final member of The Beatles to have his solo work made available for purchase on iTunes. The solo music of Ringo Starr, John Lennon and Paul McCartney has also been made available for purchase and download from the iTunes Store.

There's no word on when The Beatles back catalogue will be made available.
