Kaiser Chiefs never miss a trick

Popsters flog downloads along with tour tickets

Indie popsters Kaiser Chiefs have come up with a neat marketing approach: they are allowing members of their fan club to buy digital copies of their new single Never Miss A Beat along with their tour tickets.

Tickets for the 2009 Kaiser Chiefs tour went on pre-release sale to fans at midday today, two days ahead of the tour tickets going on general sale. As well as beating the queue for tickets promoting their new album Off With Their Heads, Kaiser Chiefs fans can pre-order the new single, Never Miss A Beat.

The three-track collection can be bought for £1.99, while the three individual songs can be bought for 99p each. However, as the terms make it clear, the digital download will not actually take place until Sunday 5 October. The new single is released on Monday 6 October.
