eBay cheapest place to buy new iPad

eBay undercuts Apple by £20

Internet auction giant eBay has announced that one of its online retailers is selling the cheapest new iPads in the UK via its marketplace - £20 cheaper than any other retailer, included Apple. See also new iPad review

Apple's third generation tablet PC, which was launched last week, is priced at £399 on a number of internet retail sites, including Apple's own store. However eBay's press team has just got in contact with PC Advisor to let us know that the much sought after tablet is selling £20 cheaper on the eBuyer Express eBay seller site than all of its competitors. The new iPads come brand new, in their box and with a full one-year warranty - perhaps the most surprising thing is that the eBay seller isn't charging a thing for postage and packaging.

Apple's new iPad 3 has been well received by technology fans on the whole. With, its iLife apps, improved battery and new HD 'retina' display gaining heaps of praise. The launch hasn't been a complete success though; as there have been many reports of the new iPad overheating as well as certain users experiencing problems with its Wi-Fi. Apple (alongside Facebook) has also experienced a backlash from UK consumers, claiming that they are 'bored' with its new products.
