New iPad review
The official invite to Apple's iPad launch read: "We have something you really have to see. And touch." It then showed a picture of a hand, touching an iPad. Speculation was rife about the iPad launch, as you might expect. There were strong rumours that rather than the 'iPad 3' the third generation of Apple's tablet will be called the 'iPad HD', but in fact it is simply known as 'iPad'. It's believed that the 9.7in device that is the subject of this iPad launch may be only a precurser to a 7in iPad, due to launch later in the year.
PC Advisor will, of course, bring you all the latest details of Apple's launch today, as well as first-look reviews, photos and analysis. And we'll have an iPad review live here as soon as we can write it.
But for the action as it happened, simply watch the box below:

John Howard said: The new i pad is beautifully built and provided you do and believe and think as Apple say then this will be the best tablet ever I want a tablet to complement my dslr and the new i-pad 64gb looks perfect64 gb is not very big in photographic terms so quick and easy drag and drop between tablet and PC is a mustSaddly such a simple and well established action as dragging and dropping has been deliberately complicated by Apple again with itunes and so does not existNor does my order Nor can you drag and drop between between apps on the ipad I wonder how much more has been deliberately left out in order to control use
Maccyroo said: Its great to see Apple actually showing the new features and improvements made with the new Ipad 3 It actually seems like maybe they have at last realised that developing a new and improved Ipad tablet is the way forward rather than using legal firms to try and stifle competition by suing other tablet makers for their designsIm all for protection on intellectual property where relevant but remember that imitation is also the sincerest from of flattery too
