Apple shuts online store for new laptops

Waiting for Steve Jobs event tonight

Apple has suspended service on its online store as it prepares to upgrade its range of Mac laptops.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs will take to the stage at a special event near the company HQ in Cupertino at 6pm (BST).

The event is called "The spotlight turns to notebooks", and there are rumours aplenty about what will be announced.

Check back with PC Advisor to see the new Apple laptops as soon as they're announced.
