Toshiba Qosmio DX730 all-in-one PC

Blu-ray and Freeview in a pretty TV-like package

This is Toshiba’s first ever all-in-one PC and on paper it sounds rather good. Housed in a slimline 23in LCD, the DX730 is a full HD touchscreen model with a Freeview tuner, Blu-ray player and a terabyte of storage.

Toshiba says the Qosmio DX730's screen design is based on that of its REGZA TVs. The 1920x1080-pixel display has a 1.3Mp webcam embedded in its surround. The Windows 7 Home Premium PC has 6GB of DDR3 RAM, comes in either Intel Core i3 or Core i5 versions, and has a slew of connections including HDMI, Bluetooth 3.0, four USB 2.0 and two 3.0 ports and a 4-in-one card reader.

Wireless peripherals gigabit Ethernet and 802.11 b, g and n Wi-Fi also feature. Freeview programmes are delivered via a DVB-T TV tuner. The Qosmio also has Onkyo speakers built in.
