Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 and Yoga Tablet Pro: Specs and features
Before we delve into the specs of all these tablets, it's worth highlighting that the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro comes with a built-in projector which can show up to a 50in display on a wall.
No matter which 8- or 10in model you opt for in the Yoga Tablet 2 range, you'll get a Full HD screen resolution. However, if you opt for a 13in model then this jumps to QuadHD 2560 x 1440.
Processor and RAM
Just like Tesco moved to Intel with the Hudl 2, the entire Yoga Tablet 2 range is powered by an Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor which clocks up to 1.86 GHz. There's 2 GB across the board apart.
Every Yoga Tablet 2 has a microSD card slot which can take up to 64 GB cards. In terms of internal storage, you'll get different amounts depending on which model you go for. The 8in Tablet 2 comes with 16 GB but the 10in offers a choice of 32 GB, too. The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro comes with 32 GB as standard. Over on the Windows side, the 8- and 10in models come with 32 GB.
Some of the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 models will come with optional Bluetooth keyboard covers and some will be available with 4G LTE connectivity. As before, there are stereo speakers but if you buy either 13in model you'll get 8W JBL sound system with subwoofer and Dolby sound. Lenovo also touts micro-HDMI, Intel WiDi and an 8 Mp rear camera for the Yoga Tablet 2.
Once again, Lenovo is making big claims on the battery life front with either 15 or 18 hours depending on the model.
The kickstand is still an integral part of the Yoga Tablet 2 design and is now larger and includes a new mode called 'hang' (there's a hole in the kickstand from which to hang the tablet).
