Henri Crohas, CEO of Archos said: "As the pioneer in the Android tablet market, we strive to continually push the technological boundaries of tablets and user experience,"

"We are taking our tablets to the next level by releasing an entirely new design that will redefine thin, while providing more functionality and a better price than any current Android tablet in the market."

Key specifications include a 1.5GHz multi-core processor, 10.1in (1280 x 800) screen, 16GB internal storage and a Mini HDMI port. The magnetic Coverboard acts as a cover, stand, and keyboard dock in one meaning it will rival the Asus Transformer range of tablets.
