Kogan has announced its Agora 10, a budget priced Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet.

The firm said this is its 'aggressive entry into the Android 4.0 market'. The Agora 10 will come in two models starting at just £119 for 8GB. See also: Group test: What's the best tablet PC?

Ruslan Kogan, CEO of Kogan said: "While the new iPad is no doubt resolutionary, it does come with a comparatively hefty price tag. It’s also a closed system which limits functionality. Our tablets give people freedom through USB and microSD inputs."
The Agora 10 features a 10in IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768, a 1GHz processor, dual-cameras, a microSD card slot and a Mini HDMI port. If 8GB isn't enough storage then you can double it to 16GB for a mere £10.
Kogan said the aim is to bring the latest technology to the masses at an affordable price. The cost certainly undercuts Google's Nexus 7 tablet which starts at £159.
