ZTE Light Tab II launched in the UK

7in Android 2.3 device is priced at £235

ZTE has revealed its tablet PC, the ZTE Light Tab II, will be made available in the UK.

The 7in tablet PC runs Google Android 2.3, which is also known as Gingerbread, and is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 1.4GHz processor. It also benefits from a 1024x600 capacitive touchscreen, 4GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card and an FM radio.

The device weighs 402g, offers Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity and also features a rear 3MP camera along with a front-facing 0.3Mp camera.

"ZTE V9A is ZTE's first own-branded tablet made available in the UK and we are very excited about its entry into the market. We plan to continue our progress in the UK, introducing ZTE branded consumer devices with key capabilities at reasonable prices," said Wu Sa, Director, Mobile Device Operations, ZTE. "Our UK strategy is very much focused on providing quality devices - a factor which is apparent through our growth and development in the handset arena".

The ZTE Light Tab II is available to pre-order from Clove for £235 with stock expected late this month or early in March.
