Serif Digital Scrapbook Artist 2

Serif has released a new version of its Digital Scrapbook Artist software.

Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 now features Photo Lab - built-in photo editing software that allows users to implement basic edits such as red-eye removal to their images, as well a Colour Palette Designer that makes it easier to pick out contrasting colours to go with a design's theme.

The software, which lets users create scrapbooks of their digital images, also includes a stencil tool. This allows users to drag any embellishment or shape to the tool to turn it in to a stencil - along with extra brushes and edges.

Another new feature is the ability to have an object seemlessly blend into an image using textures and other materials. The program comes with links to video tutorials, an indepth user guide and context-sensitive advice to help novices get to grips with the possibilities that digital scrapbooking presents.

"Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 offers a fun, affordable way to become a digital scrapbooker regardless of experience or artistic ability, and with a huge range of crafting tools and techniques, Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 makes digital scrapbooking even more realistic!," said Gary Bates, managing director of Serif.

Digital ScrapBook Artist 2 is available from Serif now, priced at £29.99.
