Grand Designs 3D home designer software

If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Kevin McCloud and want to breathe new life into your home, then Eleco's Grand Designs 3D range of home designer software could be just what you're looking for.

There are three different packages; Kitchen & Bathroom, Renovation & Interior, and Self Build & Development in the range, which has been designed for anyone who wants to make changes to existing homes or even start from scratch with a self-build project.

The software offers a step-by-step guide to renovating and improving various areas of your home from creating a 2D plan of the changes and a 3D walk-through to visualise every aspect of the project including lighting. You can even furnish your 3D model with fixtures and fittings from a database included with the software, so you can examine every detail of your new-look home.

Alternatively, if you want to recreate one of the many projects that have been featured on the Grand Designs TV show, the software boasts 2D interior and exterior plans as well as 3D models of the projects, in a bid to help you turn your own home into a grand design.

Running on Windows XP and Vista, the software is priced at £24.99 for Grand Designs 3D Kitchen & Bathroom, while Grand Designs 3D Renovation & Interior costs £49.99 and Grand Designs 3D Self Build & Development is priced at £199.99.
