XEED projectors to go on sale in second half of 2013
Canon today announced four projectors, the first of what it calls 'compact installation projectors'. Canon says the four models represent a new category of projector: compact, but offering what it describes as 'market-leading image quality' and features. The series of XEED Compact Installation projectors will be on sale in the second half of 2013.

Intel launches Atom "Centerton" processors for servers
Intel today announced its 'Centerton' range of Intel Atom processors for servers. The Intel Atom Processor S1200 range includes three SKUs each with dual 'Saltwell' x86 cores with Hyper-Threading technology, is manufactured via a 32nm process, and represents the first time Intel has launched Atom chips for the data centre.

Xerox 7600i multi-function scanner arrives
