Epson Stylus Photo R2000 promises vibrant A3 prints

Versatile A3+ printer offers lustrous results

Epson’s latest photo printer produces high gloss prints at A3 and above. It uses UltraChrome HiGloss2 Ink for extra sheen and has a colour palette created from eight separate inks. Epson says users can expect vibrant results despite the R2000 using a pigment-based ink. A wide range of paper stock and finishes can be used with the large-format photo printer, including poster board, rolls of paper and fine art papers.

A high capacity ink cartridge - introduced for the first time with this printer model – helps to keep colour printing costs down and reduce the frequency of cartridge refills. The 17ml cartridges offer 50 percent more capacity than others in the Epson A3+ range. A maximum print resolution of 5768x1440dpi is promised with this £419 printer, while ink droplets as small as 1.5 picolitres can be laid down.
