Kodak has unveiled the Playtouch pocket camcorder, which features a 3in touschscreen with a glare shield.
The camcorder is capable of capturing HD video footage at a resolution of 1080x720 at 30 frames per second. It can also capture 5Mp still images.
Footage can be easily transferred to a PC using the built-in USB connector arm. Once connected to a PC the device will also charge via the USB arm too. Kodak says the camcorder has a battery life of up to 10 hours.
Alternatively, you can use the new share button that allows you to tag friends and family in the video before uploading it to social networking site Facebook, or even prepares the video for email, so its sent as soon as the device is connected to a PC.
Available in black, chrome, orange or teal, the Kodak Playtouch also features built-in editing software, a HDMI port that ensures content stored on the PC can be viewed on a HD display, and support for SD or SDHC memory cards up to 32GB.
"Whether it's a night out on the town with friends or your child's school play, the Kodak Playtouch camcorder makes capturing and sharing your favourite moments simple and fun," said Phill Scott from Kodak.
Priced at £199.99, the Kodak Playtouch will be available later this year.
