A portable DVD player costing just £70 including VAT is being launched by LCD screen specialist HannsG.
The company has always had a quirky take on screen technology, marrying distinctive surrounds in the shape of various animals or other designs with budget-priced TV screens and computer displays.
The 7in widescreen active matrix TFT screen DVD player HannsG is launching has a flip-up lid that protects its display when not in use. The HP076VD player comes with anti-shock protection so DVD discs don’t skip or go awry when used on bumpy car journeys.
As well as playing DVDs, the HannsG 7in portable DVD player has a media card reader and a USB port. Using these, photos, music and video files can all be read and played or displayed on the HannsG player. The HP076VD has a pair of integrated stereo speakers and a headphone jack so passengers don’t disrupt the driver’s concentration.
The HannsG player has a battery life of around two hours. The nickel metal hydride battery can be recharged from the mains or using the supplied 12V car adapter.
Misco is set to sell the HannsG HP076VD player for £70 including VAT. A two-year return to base warranty is provided.
This 7in widescreen portable DVD player from HannsG also has a built-in card reader
