BubblePix launches iPhone 5 ready BubbleScope

iPhone camera accessory takes 360 degree photos and videos

BubblePix has finally launched its BubbleScope camera accessory for iPhone users.

The BubbleScope is a lens attachment which can take 360 degree photos and videos, called bubbles, with the iPhone. The £69 accessory is now on sale and pre-orders are now being shipped. See also: Camera reviews.

Inventor, Tom Lawton said: "Ten years ago I was inspired by the beautiful world around me to create the best, most practical, compact and affordable instant 360? panoramic camera possible. My vision was to enable anyone to capture and share their experiences as 360? Bubbles. Today that dream is a reality and I am thrilled that the BubbleScope is finally available for everybody to enjoy. When life inspires you, just shoot the Bubble!"

The BubbleScope is currently available for iPhone 4 and 4S users but the firm is working on an iPhone 5 case which will be offered to existing customers at a discounted price. BubblePix said that versions compatible with 'other leading smartphones and mobile OSes' will be available soon.

A free BubblePix app accompanies the BubbleScope allowing users to preview and capture their 360 degree images. The results can then be shared on on bubblepix.com, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
