Veho Renovo Photo Scanner

Admit it, you've got a stack of shoeboxes full of photos you never look at because they're actual prints rather than screen-friendly digital snaps.

If you're like us and never quite get round to pasting them into an album or sorting through the duds to discard, the Renovo Photo Scanner could be your photo collection's salvation. It sucks in a photo, takes seconds to make a digital copy and saves it to an SD Card. You can then download a card full to your PC for instant archiving. The Renovo accepts only 6x4in snaps and creates a 2MB file from each – no need to mess about with resolution settings or anything complex.

The Renovo Photo Scanner is available at the usual gadget sites and costs £69.
