Toshiba Camileo BW10 underwater HD camcorder

Toshiba has unveiled the Camileo BW10 Underwater HD camcorder.

The Camileo BW10 camcorder can capture video at a resolution of 1920x1080 and 30 frames per second. It can also take 5Mp photos and is waterproof to a depth of two metres, all of which puts it on a par with the Kodak PlaySport Zx3, PC Advisor's current Best Buy compact camcorder.

The Toshiba Camileo BW10 measures 22x55x107mm and is encased in rubber to protect it against drops, dust and sand. It records to a Secure Digital memory card and can accept SD cards with capacities of up to 64GB.

The £129 camcorder has a 10x digital zoom and software that enables content captured on it to be upload directly to YouTube. Video clips can be previewed and reviewed on the BW10's 2in LCD display, while the addition of a HDMI port means you can watch your home movies on a HD display.

The Toshiba Cameilo BW10 will be available from the end of June, priced at £129.99.
