Sony MHS-PM1 HD digital camcorder

The MHS-PM1 HD digital camcorder, which has just been unveiled by Sony, features a lens that swivels through 270 degrees, making it possible to capture yourself on film.

The MHS-PM1 captures video at a resolution of 1080x720 at 30fps. It is also capable of taking 5mp still images.

Measuring just 24x103x55mm, Sony says the camcorder will fit in the palm of your hand. Users will also benefit from a 4x digital zoom and a1.8in LCD display, which can be used to preview your video and still images.

The camcorder features five scene selection modes - sports, landscape, low light, and backlight - to ensure you capture the best possible images and video, while the Sharemark button allows users to select their favourite images which are automatically uploaded to the web as soon as the camcorder is connected to a PC with internet access via the bundled USB cable.

The camcorder supports a Memory Stick PRO Duo up to 16GB.
