FlipVideo MinoHD Chrome

FlipVideo MinoHD Chrome thumbnail viewFlipVideo is to launch a 'limited edition' Chrome version of its MinoHD digital video recorder. The MinoHD Chrome will go onsale in the UK next week.

So-called because of the way the USB connector flips out when you want to hook it up to a PC, the Flip range of products is designed to be as straightforward as possible to use. Video recording is initiated via the single big red button in the middle of the unit.

Weighing less than 3oz, the MinoHD has 4GB of built-in flash memory - sufficient to record up to 60 minutes of footage - and is able to record 720p video. FlipShare software for PC users enables easy video archive management and previewing and clips recorded on the device can be uploaded to Flickr or YouTube.

The FlipVideo MinoHD Chrome will cost £169.
