Genius G-Shot HD520 HD digital video camera

Genius has launched the G-Shot HD250 - a 5Mp stills and 720p HD digital video camera that costs just £100.

Measuring 40x71x115mm, the G-Shot HD250 video camera is designed to easily fit in a pocket. It has a 2.5in display that can be rotated through 270 degrees, ensuring users can capture video even from tricky angles.

The G-Shot HD250 captures video at 30fps (frames per second) and a resolution of 1,280x720, while the HDMI port allows it to be connected to any HD display. Other features include a 5x digital zoom, support for a microSD card up to 8GB and face-detection technology.

The G-Shot is powered by a lithium ion battery, will also snap still photos at 5Mp, though it can emulate 11Mp-worth of detail using software interpolation.
