AgfaPhoto first with HD digital photo frames

AgfaPhoto has unveiled what it says are the world's first high-definition digital photo frames. The AgfaPhoto AF5105MS and the AF5135MS each has a 1,280x800-pixel resolution screen.

The AF5105MS and the AF5135MS are 10in and 13in photo frames respectively and are able to play via - with sound broadcast through an integrated speaker - as well as showing off photo collections. 

The 22mm thick frames ares available in black or white and come with interchangeable trims in black, aluminium and wood finishes, which can be changed to suit your decor.

The frames have a 256MB internal memory but also accept Secure Digital, XD, Compact Flash, MMC, MS or SDHC memory cards. Other features include a USB port which can be used to transfer content from your PC and a calendar and alarm clock functionality

"We're delighted to be announcing these new photoframes. They're much more than a photoframe they're a full multimedia visual display unit," said Sagem spokesman Gerry McAuley. Sagem distributes Agfaphoto products.
