General Imaging (GE) E1050TW

General Imaging (GE) has launched a new digital camera featuring a 3in touchscreen and direct HDMI output.

The HD connection on the GE E1050TW (the TW standing for Touch & Wide) allows users to view content from the camera on an HDTV without the need for a docking cradle.

Other features of the GE E1050TW include 10-megapixel resolution, 5x optical zoom, 4.5x digital zoom, a 28mm wide angle lens, Smile Detection, Blink Detection, Face Detection and In-Camera Panorama Stitching.

The E1050TW will be available from end of September 2008 for £150.
